In many people with major depressive disorder (MDD), it is the presence and persistence of cognitive problems that mediate poor outcomes. Treating cognition as a target is key to improving symptoms and, in turn, improving function. Using the right tools to measure cognition is an essential part of the process. In this video, Roger McIntyre (Co-Chair of the THINC Task Force) describes how the development of the interactive THINC-it® tool can help address a need to specifically assess cognitive dysfunction in MDD.
